A tragic incident occurred in the Bakunthpur police station area of Gopalganj district, Bihar, where a gas leak triggered a violent fire. The blaze, which broke out in the village of Safiyabad, resulted in the loss of two young lives and caused severe injuries to several others.
According to initial reports, 17 individuals sustained burn injuries in the incident. The severity of the fire prompted emergency response teams to rush to the scene to extinguish the flames and rescue the victims.
Due to the critical condition of some of the injured, several patients were referred to Gorakhpur for advanced medical treatment. Local authorities are currently investigating the cause of the gas leak to prevent similar accidents in the future.
