Karoline Leavitt, former White House press secretary, has joined Fox News following her late August resignation to focus on her family.
Karoline Leavitt, who served as the press secretary for former US President Donald Trump, has officially joined the news network Fox News. This move marks her return to the public media spotlight after a brief hiatus from her high-profile government role.
Leavitt stepped down from her position in the Trump administration in late August. The decision to leave the White House was made to allow her to focus on her family during a significant personal period. She had recently given birth to her second child in the spring, a milestone that likely influenced her choice to take time away from the intense demands of the press secretary role.
Her transition to Fox News indicates a shift from direct political communication to media analysis and reporting. While specific details of her new role were not elaborated in the initial reports, her appointment signals a continued presence in the American political news landscape.
This development is part of the broader trend of former administration officials moving into media roles, where they can continue to engage with political discourse and public opinion without the direct responsibilities of government service.
