Truecaller has introduced a new Scam Checker feature that brings together multiple fraud detection tools within its app.
Truecaller, the caller ID and spam‑blocking service, announced the rollout of a Scam Checker that unifies its existing scam detection capabilities.
The tool aggregates reports from users worldwide, cross‑checks numbers against known fraud databases, and uses machine‑learning algorithms to flag suspicious calls and messages.
By presenting a single interface, the Scam Checker aims to simplify how users identify potential scams, reducing the risk of phishing and financial fraud.
The feature is being added to the latest version of the Truecaller app for Android and iOS and will be available to all registered users at no extra cost.
Truecaller says the integration will enhance user safety and encourage more people to report suspicious activity, strengthening the platform’s collective intelligence.
