The Ministry of Finance announced that Tripura will receive a central grant of ₹368.58 crore for the fiscal year 2023‑24. The allocation is earmarked for infrastructure, education, and health sector upgrades across the state.
The grant is intended to accelerate ongoing projects such as road connectivity in remote districts, expansion of government schools, and the construction of new primary health centres. It also provides additional funds for digital initiatives aimed at improving administrative efficiency.
