Tripura Police has emerged as the top user of the national intelligence platform NATGRID, surpassing all other states in usage metrics.
Tripura Police has been recognized as the highest user of the National Intelligence Grid (NATGRID), a digital platform that aggregates data from various law‑enforcement agencies across India.
The state’s law‑enforcement officials reportedly logged more than 2,000 queries in the past year, outpacing all other states in the country. The achievement reflects Tripura’s commitment to leveraging technology for crime prevention and intelligence sharing.
Officials said the success was driven by extensive training and a dedicated team that regularly updates the database with local intelligence.
The ranking was announced by the Ministry of Home Affairs during a press briefing in New Delhi. Tripura Police Commissioner, Mr. R. K. Sharma, expressed pride in the team’s efforts and pledged to maintain the momentum. He also highlighted the importance of continuous training and collaboration with other state forces.
