A joint raid by Sonamura police, the Border Security Force and Tripura State Rifles resulted in the seizure of dry cannabis, Yaba tablets and a Hyundai Aura car.
Sonamura police, supported by the Border Security Force (BSF) and Tripura State Rifles (TSR), carried out a coordinated operation in the town of Sonamura, Tripura, on Monday. The joint effort targeted suspected drug trafficking activities in the area.
During the raid, law‑enforcement officials recovered a quantity of dry cannabis and several packets of Yaba tablets, a potent methamphetamine derivative. In addition, a Hyundai Aura car believed to be used for transporting the contraband was seized.
