Chief Minister Dr Manik Saha of Tripura presented appointment letters to sixteen fire service drivers and distributed sewing machines to one hundred eighty women in a ceremony aimed at boosting employment and livelihood opportunities.
The chief minister presided over a ceremony in Tripura’s capital where sixteen candidates were handed appointment letters for positions as fire service drivers. The recruitment is part of a broader effort to augment the state’s emergency response capabilities.
In a parallel initiative, the government distributed sewing machines to one hundred eighty women from various districts. The machines are intended to provide a source of income and promote self‑reliance among beneficiaries.
