Traffic restrictions in Hyderabad's Vaishali Nagar extended to Oct 14

The municipal authorities have prolonged the traffic control measures in Vaishali Nagar until October 14, citing ongoing road works.
The Greater Hyderabad Municipal Corporation (GHMC) announced that the temporary traffic restrictions imposed in the Vaishali Nagar area will now remain in force until October 14. The extension follows the continuation of road‑repair and utility‑installation projects that began earlier this month.
Motorists are advised to use alternate routes such as the nearby Inner Ring Road and the Musheerabad‑Kukatpally corridor to avoid congestion. Public transport operators have been instructed to adjust bus timings and inform commuters about the detours.
Residents and business owners in the neighbourhood have been urged to plan their travel accordingly and to cooperate with traffic police deployed at key intersections. The GHMC will review the situation on October 15 to decide whether normal traffic flow can be restored.
