The two Kannada releases have collectively generated ₹41 crore in advance bookings, a figure that includes blocked seats. The surge raises questions about whether Yash can replicate KGF 2's 44% walk‑in jump.
Toxic and KGF 2, the latest releases from Kannada cinema, have together amassed ₹41 crore in advance bookings, according to industry sources. The total includes revenue from blocked seats, a common practice where a portion of seats is reserved for future allocation.
The figure reflects a strong pre‑release interest, especially for KGF 2, which has been noted for its 44% walk‑in jump in earlier releases. Analysts are now examining whether the current momentum can translate into a similar surge at the box office.
While the exact split between the two films is not disclosed, the combined advance sales indicate a robust market response. Film distributors are monitoring the trend closely as the theatrical release dates approach.
