Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has approved 6 AM screenings for new movie releases, providing a significant box office boost to Diwali films like 'Scene' and 'Mookuthi Amman 2'.
Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay has taken a significant step to support the state's film industry by approving 6 AM movie shows for new releases. This administrative decision aims to maximize the opening day collections for films entering the market.
The approval has immediately benefited the major Diwali releases in the state. Notably, Suriya's 'Scene' and Nayanthara's 'Mookuthi Amman 2' have received a box office boost due to this extended screening window. By allowing early morning shows, the state government is ensuring that audiences have more opportunities to watch these high-profile films on their release day.
This move is seen as a strategic intervention to help new releases compete effectively and secure higher opening numbers. The decision reflects the state's continued support for the Tamil film industry, particularly during festive seasons when competition is at its peak.
