Three-vehicle collision in Jalandhar leaves a youth critically injured

Jalandhar police reported that three vehicles collided on a city road on Tuesday, causing a serious injury to a young male passenger. Emergency services arrived promptly and transported the victim to a nearby hospital, where he remains in critical condition. The exact cause of the crash is under investigation, with authorities checking for possible traffic rule violations or vehicle malfunction.

Witnesses at the scene said the impact was sudden and that the vehicles involved were a private car, a two-wheeler and a small commercial van. Traffic was temporarily halted, leading to congestion in the surrounding area until the wreckage was cleared.

Police officials have launched a routine inquiry and are gathering statements from drivers and eyewitnesses. They have also urged the public to exercise caution and adhere to speed limits, especially in busy urban corridors.

The injured youth's family has been informed, and the hospital has not released further details about his condition pending official updates.
