On Vijayadashami, Jaipur will host Ravan burnings at Vidyadhar Nagar, Aadarsh Nagar and Manasrover, featuring effigies as tall as 121 feet, with traffic diversions planned across the city.
The municipal authorities in Jaipur have announced that three large Ravan effigies will be set alight on Vijayadashami. The installations are planned for Vidyadhar Nagar, Aadarsh Nagar and Manasrover, with the Aadarsh Nagar site also featuring a Kumbhakarna figure. One of the effigies is reported to stand at 121 feet, while another will be about 70 feet tall.
Organisers expect crowds to gather for the traditional celebration, which marks the triumph of good over evil. To manage the expected influx of devotees and tourists, the city administration has issued traffic diversion orders on several major routes surrounding the venues.
Security personnel and fire‑service teams will be on standby to ensure safety during the pyrotechnic displays. The events are part of the annual Dussehra festivities that draw large numbers of participants across Rajasthan.
