Police in Jaipur’s Jawahar Circle area busted a home‑invasion where a youth was held hostage and around ₹5 lakh in cash and valuables were stolen, leading to the arrest of three suspects linked to a Nepali gang.
The Jawahar Circle police jurisdiction in Jaipur uncovered a brazen home‑invasion in which the perpetrators entered a residence under the pretext of domestic work. Once inside, they restrained a young man, effectively taking him hostage.
The suspects looted approximately five lakh rupees in cash along with valuable personal items from the house. The total value of the stolen goods was reported to be around ₹5 lakh.
Following a swift investigation, Jaipur police arrested three individuals identified as members of a Nepali criminal gang. The arrests were made after tracing the stolen cash and items to the suspects.
Authorities said the case highlights the growing cross‑border criminal networks operating in the region and assured that further inquiries will continue to dismantle the gang’s activities.
