Three owners of IT firms were seized by men disguised as police officers. The abductors used a Secretariat‑hired Innova and are demanding a ransom of ₹50 lakh.
Authorities reported that three proprietors of information‑technology companies were taken hostage after men posing as police officers approached them in a vehicle that resembled an official patrol car. The abductors reportedly arrived in an Innova that had been hired through a government secretariat, using the official appearance to gain the victims' trust.

Law enforcement agencies have launched an investigation, focusing on the misuse of a Secretariat‑hired vehicle and the impersonation of police personnel. Officials have appealed to the public for any information that could help locate the missing owners and apprehend the perpetrators.
