Hundreds of Buddhist devotees assembled at Tawang Monastery in Arunachal Pradesh to view a special exhibition of sacred Buddha relics.

Tawang Monastery, one of the oldest and most revered Buddhist sites in India, opened its precincts to a large gathering of devotees eager to see a curated display of sacred Buddha relics. The exhibition, described by monastery officials as a rare opportunity for pilgrims, showcases relics that are believed to have been directly associated with the life of Gautama Buddha.

Visitors arrived from across the region, forming long queues and participating in collective prayers before entering the hall where the relics are housed. The atmosphere was marked by chants, incense smoke, and a palpable sense of reverence as the faithful sought blessings.

Monastery authorities emphasized the cultural and spiritual significance of the event, noting that such exhibitions help preserve Buddhist heritage and foster communal harmony in the border state of Arunachal Pradesh. Security and crowd‑management measures were in place to ensure a smooth experience for all attendees.
