Congress stalwart Shashi Tharoor has publicly urged the BJP to acknowledge Rahul Gandhi’s political relevance, warning that ignoring him would be a mistake. The remarks come as the Congress readies for the upcoming elections.
Shashi Tharoor, a senior leader of the Indian National Congress, addressed a gathering in Delhi and urged the Bharatiya Janata Party to recognize Rahul Gandhi’s continued influence in Indian politics.
Tharoor cautioned that dismissing Rahul would be a strategic error, noting his ability to mobilise voters and shape public discourse. He added that constructive engagement would benefit the national political landscape.
The comments were made as the Congress party finalises its campaign strategy ahead of the national elections, highlighting the importance of intra‑party dynamics and the need for the opposition to address key figures.
