Telangana Issues Rain Alert for Multiple Districts Amid Forecasted Showers

The Telangana Meteorological Department released a rain alert today, indicating that several districts across the state are likely to receive showers in the coming days. The alert, issued in response to a low‑pressure system moving over the Deccan plateau, advises residents to stay informed through local weather updates. Authorities have urged people to secure loose objects, check drainage systems, and avoid unnecessary travel during peak rainfall hours. While the exact intensity of the rain is uncertain, officials warn that heavy downpours could lead to localized flooding and road blockages. The department will continue monitoring the situation and will update the public if conditions change.
