The Tamil Nadu government has moved three central prison superintendents following a series of escape incidents, citing concerns over security lapses.
The state government announced the transfers of three central prison superintendents in response to recent escape incidents that raised concerns about prison security.
The officials, who were overseeing key facilities in the state, will be reassigned to other posts within the central prison system. The move is part of a broader review of prison management protocols.
Authorities said the transfers aim to reinforce discipline and prevent future breaches, while investigations into the escapes continue.
