Tamil Nadu Chief Minister Vijay will officially open a new bus stand and an indoor stadium in Pudukkottai on November 2.
The Tamil Nadu government has scheduled a public inauguration ceremony for a new bus stand and an indoor stadium in the town of Pudukkottai on Saturday, November 2. Chief Minister Vijay will preside over the event, marking the completion of the infrastructure projects that were approved earlier this year.
The bus stand, built on a 1.5‑acre site near the town centre, is designed to accommodate increased passenger traffic and provide modern amenities such as digital information boards and sheltered waiting areas. The indoor stadium, with a seating capacity of around 3,000, is intended to host regional sports competitions and cultural programs.
State officials said the twin facilities aim to improve connectivity for residents and promote sports development in the district. Construction work on both projects was completed within the stipulated timeline, and the inauguration will be attended by local dignitaries and community leaders.
The ceremony is expected to draw a sizable crowd, reflecting the importance of the new amenities for Pudukkottai’s urban growth and youth engagement in sports.
