Suzlon Energy plans to set up a wind blade manufacturing facility in southern Tamil Nadu with an investment of ₹200 crore.
Suzlon has announced an investment of ₹200 crore to establish a wind blade plant in the southern part of Tamil Nadu. The facility will focus on manufacturing blades for wind turbines, supporting the company's renewable energy portfolio.
The project is expected to enhance domestic production capacity for wind energy components and contribute to India's clean energy goals. It will also generate employment opportunities in the region during both construction and operational phases.
Suzlon's move aligns with the growing emphasis on expanding local manufacturing of wind power equipment to reduce reliance on imports and strengthen the sector's supply chain.
