Suspended MCA Official Appointed BCCI Women's Tournament Convener

A controversial appointment has been made within the BCCI (Board of Control for Cricket in India). Despite being suspended by the Mumbai Cricket Association (MCA) for allegedly covering up harassment claims, an official has been named as the convener for a women's cricket tournament in Northeast India. This decision has raised eyebrows within the cricketing community, with many questioning the BCCI's judgment in appointing someone with such a controversial past to a position of authority within a women's tournament.
