Sudeep Tyagi poised to become Uttar Pradesh white‑ball cricket coach

Former Indian fast‑bowler Sudeep Tyagi is being tipped to take charge of the white‑ball coaching duties for Uttar Pradesh's senior cricket side, according to reports from the state association. Tyagi, who represented the state in domestic tournaments and played a handful of matches for India, has been involved in coaching at the junior level and with the IPL franchise Kolkata Knight Riders. The appointment, if confirmed, would see him replace the outgoing coach and oversee the team's preparation for upcoming limited‑overs competitions, including the Vijay Hazare Trophy. Cricket officials said his experience as a player and mentor makes him a suitable fit for nurturing the next generation of Uttar Pradesh talent. The decision is expected to be formalised within the next few days, pending board approval.
