The state labour department has approved a 10% hike in minimum wages for workers in various industries and the private sector.
The labour department of the state announced a decision to raise the minimum wage for workers employed in diverse industries and the private sector by 10%.
The increase is aimed at improving earnings of low‑paid workers and aligning wages with the rising cost of living. The department said the revision will be implemented as per its guidelines.
