SPG Deploys Commando to Virbhadra Loyalist Amid Rising Tensions

The Special Protection Group (SPG) has sent a commando to a loyalist of Virbhadra, a four‑time Congress Member of Legislative Assembly, as part of its routine security protocol. The move comes amid reports of rising tensions in the region, prompting the central security apparatus to act preemptively. No further details about the loyalist’s activities or the reasons for the deployment have been released by the SPG. The decision underscores the government's focus on maintaining stability in areas with potential political unrest. Officials have stated that the commando’s presence is a precautionary measure and not a response to any specific incident.
