Special Trains Launched from Delhi to Bihar, UP for Diwali and Chhath Festivities

Uttar Railway has introduced several special trains from Delhi to Bihar, Uttar Pradesh and other states to manage the surge of travelers during Diwali and Chhath.
Northern Railway has started a set of special services linking Delhi with key stations in Bihar and Uttar Pradesh as the country prepares for the twin festivals of Diwali and Chhath. The additional trains are scheduled to run throughout the festive window, offering passengers direct connectivity to major hubs such as Patna, Varanasi, and Lucknow.
The move aims to ease the expected crowding on regular services, with the railway authority advising travelers to book tickets early. Fares for the special trains are kept on par with regular express rates, and reservation counters have been instructed to prioritize festival‑season bookings.
