Sparse rain in Hosahalli, Vijayanagara and Vitlappur, Ballari as Karnataka braces for three-day dry spell
Only Hosahalli in Vijayanagara district and Vitlappur in Ballari recorded minimal rainfall in the last 24 hours, while the rest of Karnataka is expected to stay dry for the next three days.
The Karnataka State Department of Meteorology released a weather bulletin indicating that in the past 24 hours, measurable rainfall was confined to two locations - Hosahalli in Vijayanagara district and Vitlappur in Ballari district.
Both sites recorded only trace amounts of precipitation, insufficient to alleviate the ongoing dryness across the state.
The bulletin warned that the remaining districts will continue to experience a dry spell for at least the next three days, raising concerns for farmers and water reservoirs.
Meteorological officials advised residents to conserve water and stay updated on any changes in weather patterns.
