Six injured as overloaded private bus overturns near Sanderao, driver flees

An overloaded private bus traveling from Khetlaji to Jalore overturned near Sanderao in Pali district, leaving six passengers injured. The driver fled the scene and police have launched an investigation.
The accident took place on a rural stretch near Sanderao, a village in Rajasthan's Pali district, when a privately operated bus lost control and rolled over. The vehicle was en route from Khetlaji to Jalore and was reported to be carrying passengers beyond its capacity.
Six occupants sustained injuries of varying severity and were rushed to the nearest medical facilities for treatment. Local residents assisted in pulling the injured out of the wreckage before emergency services arrived.
According to eyewitnesses, the driver abandoned the bus immediately after it overturned and fled the scene. Police teams reached the location shortly thereafter and have opened a case to locate the driver and determine the cause of the mishap.
Authorities have warned that overloading and reckless driving on narrow country roads pose serious risks, and they said they will intensify checks on private operators to prevent similar incidents.
