Bhrigu Sahni’s latest Hindi album ‘Azaadi’ focuses on the younger generation’s call for accountability, he said in a recent interview.
Singer Bhrigu Sahni, who has been active in the Indian music scene for several years, has launched a new Hindi-language album titled “Azaadi”. The album arrives amid growing public discourse on social responsibility and civic engagement.
In a conversation with the Free Press Journal, Sahni explained that the title “Azaadi” reflects the aspirations of today’s youth, who are increasingly demanding accountability from political leaders, institutions and society at large. He described the work as a musical expression of that yearning for transparent governance and ethical conduct.
The collection of songs blends contemporary musical arrangements with lyrics that address themes of freedom, responsibility and societal change. While the album does not feature guest artists, it showcases Sahni’s own vocal style and songwriting aimed at resonating with a younger audience.
Industry observers note that Sahni’s latest release adds to a broader trend of Indian musicians using their platforms to highlight social issues, signaling a shift toward more message‑driven content in mainstream Hindi music.
