Sikkim to Host First Adventure Tourism Festival from Nov 1-7, 2026

Sikkim is set to launch its first-ever Adventure Tourism Festival, scheduled to run from 1 to 7 November 2026. The week‑long event is being promoted by Utkarsh Classes as a showcase of the state’s rugged terrain and adventure‑friendly infrastructure. Organisers aim to attract domestic and international tourists interested in trekking, mountain biking, rock climbing and other high‑octane activities. State tourism officials anticipate that the festival will generate significant economic activity for local businesses and help position Sikkim as a premier adventure destination in the Himalayas. The program will include guided expeditions, skill workshops and cultural evenings that highlight the region’s heritage alongside its natural thrills.
