Indian cricket captain Shubman Gill has landed in New Zealand to prepare for the upcoming five‑match ODI series against the hosts.
Shubman Gill touched down in Auckland on Monday, arriving at the international airport after a flight from India.
He will join the squad for a practice match against New Zealand A before the first ODI on Tuesday.
Gill, who led India to a series win in England, aims to replicate that success in the current series.
The Indian side will also feature senior players like Rohit Sharma and Jasprit Bumrah.
The five‑match series will kick off on Tuesday with the first ODI at Eden Park, followed by four more games across New Zealand.
