The Shan-e-Bhopal Express scheduled to run from Bhopal to Delhi on Friday has been cancelled, leaving passengers without the expected service. The cancellation coincides with the Mumbai‑Hazrat Nizamuddin Capital Express not departing from its originating station.

Indian Railways announced on Friday that the Shan-e-Bhopal Express, which runs daily between Bhopal and New Delhi, will not operate as scheduled. The train was slated to depart Bhopal in the early morning, but the cancellation was confirmed just hours before the planned departure.

The sudden withdrawal of the service has created inconvenience for hundreds of travelers who rely on the express for business, education and personal trips between Madhya Pradesh's capital and the national capital. Passengers have been advised to seek alternative trains or bus services, and to monitor official railway portals for any further updates.

In a related development, the Mumbai‑Hazrat Nizamuddin Capital Express, which also passes through Bhopal on its way to Delhi, will not start from its originating station on the same day. While the two cancellations are reported together, the primary impact remains on the Shan-e-Bhopal route.

Railway officials have not provided a specific reason for the cancellations, citing operational considerations. Travelers are urged to book tickets on other available services and to stay informed through the IRCTC app or railway enquiry counters.
