The Shahdol district police have announced a ₹5,000 reward for information leading to the recovery of 21 missing children, including 15 girls and six boys.

Shahdol police have intensified their search for 21 children who have been reported missing from various police station jurisdictions across the district. The missing cohort comprises fifteen girls and six boys, and none have been located so far.
Superintendent of Police Dr. Sanjay Agrawal announced a cash reward of five thousand rupees for each credible tip that leads to the recovery of any of the children. The incentive aims to encourage community members to come forward with any information, however small.
Authorities have deployed additional manpower and are coordinating with local volunteers to canvass neighborhoods, schools and transport hubs. Families of the missing children have been urged to remain hopeful and to report any sightings immediately.
The police have also set up a dedicated helpline to streamline the receipt of leads, assuring that every call will be investigated promptly. The move reflects a broader effort by law‑enforcement agencies in Madhya Pradesh to address the rising concern over child disappearances.
The district administration has pledged continued support, emphasizing that the safety of children remains a top priority and that all resources will be mobilised until the missing are found.
