During a recent visit to Himachal Pradesh, a Sarabhai vs Sarabhai actor publicly condemned tourists for littering, calling it a ‘fault in Indian DNA’.
A veteran actor from the popular sitcom *Sarabhai vs Sarabhai* used his recent trip to Himachal Pradesh to highlight the growing problem of litter left by visitors. While touring a scenic spot, the actor observed piles of plastic waste and other debris scattered across the area. He took to social media to voice his disappointment, describing the behaviour as a "fault in Indian DNA" that undermines the natural beauty of the state.
The post quickly attracted attention, with many netizens echoing his call for cleaner tourism practices. The actor urged fellow travelers to adopt responsible habits, such as carrying reusable bags, disposing of waste in designated bins, and respecting local ecosystems.
Environmental groups in Himachal have repeatedly warned that unchecked littering threatens wildlife and degrades the experience for future visitors. The actor's remarks add a high‑profile voice to ongoing campaigns aimed at promoting sustainable tourism across the Himalayas.
