The Bollywood star’s upcoming film Maatrubhumi has been postponed again, with a new theatrical release date set for December 4, according to India Today.
Salman Khan’s much‑anticipated film Maatrubhumi will now hit Indian cinemas on December 4, the latest date announced after a further postponement. The change was reported by India Today, which confirmed the new schedule without providing a specific reason for the delay.
The movie, directed by a veteran filmmaker, was originally slated for an earlier release this year, but production and post‑production hurdles have pushed it back several times. Industry sources suggest that the shift aligns with a less crowded release window, aiming to maximise box‑office potential.
Fans of the star are expected to flock to theatres once the film opens, given Khan’s track record of delivering high‑grossing projects. Distributors have already begun coordinating promotional activities to build momentum ahead of the December launch.
