Sagar Police Seize 1249 Paw Illegal Country Liquor, Arrest 14 Suspects

Sagar police launched a large‑scale operation against illegal country liquor in the Banda and Vinayaka police station areas of Madhya Pradesh. The raid resulted in the seizure of 1249 paw (approximately 62.5 litres) of unlicensed spirit. Fourteen suspects were taken into custody during the sweep. All arrested persons have been produced before the court and remanded for further investigation. The authorities said the crackdown aims to curb the growing illicit liquor trade that threatens public health and safety.
