Congress in‑charge Sachin Pilot began a five‑day tour covering 11 districts of Punjab today to assess the party’s grassroots strength ahead of the 2027 state elections.
Punjab – Today, Congress in‑charge Sachin Pilot kicked off a five‑day field programme that will span eleven districts across the state. The tour is intended to gauge the pulse of the party’s cadre and supporters as the 2027 Punjab Legislative Assembly elections approach.
During the next five days Pilot will visit key towns and villages, meet local leaders, and interact with party workers to collect feedback on organisational strengths and gaps. The itinerary covers a mix of urban and rural constituencies, reflecting the party’s effort to rebuild its network at the grassroots level.
The move comes as the Congress seeks to revive its fortunes in Punjab after a series of setbacks in recent elections. By directly engaging with members on the ground, the leadership aims to formulate a comprehensive outreach plan that can translate into electoral gains in 2027.
