RIWATCH and Kohima Science College have signed a memorandum of understanding aimed at fostering joint research initiatives and safeguarding local cultural heritage.
Kohima, Nagaland – In a ceremony attended by officials from both institutions, RIWATCH and Kohima Science College formalised a memorandum of understanding (MoU) to collaborate on research projects and cultural preservation activities. The agreement outlines joint workshops, field studies and the creation of a digital archive documenting the region's indigenous traditions.
Under the MoU, RIWATCH will provide technical expertise and funding support, while the college will contribute academic resources and local knowledge. Both parties aim to involve students and community members, encouraging participatory research that benefits the broader Nagaland region.
The partnership is expected to generate scholarly publications, enhance curriculum offerings at the college, and raise awareness of the area's rich cultural legacy among younger generations.
