Rishi Kapoor recalls startling Parisians during Bollywood song shoot in Paris

Veteran Bollywood star Rishi Kapoor recently opened up about an unexpected incident that occurred while he was filming a song in Paris. In an interview with The Hans India, Kapoor said that the choreography and props used for the sequence startled passers‑by, leading to a brief commotion among the French locals.

He explained that the elaborate set and loud music attracted a crowd, and some of the on‑set effects were mistaken for a disturbance, prompting curious Parisians to gather and react with surprise. Kapoor recalled the moment with humor, noting that the incident added an unforgettable anecdote to his long career.

The actor’s recollection highlights the occasional cultural clashes that can arise when Indian film crews shoot abroad, but also underscores the global reach of Bollywood productions. No injuries were reported, and the shoot continued after the brief confusion was cleared.
