The Langmeidong Higher Secondary School in Imphal marked a milestone today with the inauguration of its first residential hostel. The ceremony was attended by school officials and local education authorities, who highlighted the importance of on‑campus housing for students from distant villages. The new facility is expected to ease commuting challenges and improve attendance, especially for those who previously stayed in private lodgings.
