Filmibeat’s review of the new film 'Ramayana Overseas' starring Ranbir and Yash calls it a dream project but questions whether it lives up to expectations after a tweet about the film went viral.
Filmibeat has published its first detailed review of "Ramayana Overseas", the latest venture featuring Bollywood actors Ranbir and Yash. The film, billed as a grand retelling of the epic set abroad, has generated considerable buzz ahead of its release.
The review praises the scale of production, noting that the collaboration between the two stars was envisioned as a "dream project" that could attract both domestic and overseas audiences. However, the critic also points out pacing issues and a narrative that may not fully engage viewers, questioning whether the film justifies the high expectations.
A tweet about the movie went viral earlier this week, amplifying public curiosity and prompting debates on social media about its potential success. The online chatter reflects a mix of excitement for the star pairing and skepticism about the film's storytelling.
While the review stops short of a definitive verdict, it suggests that audiences should approach the film with measured expectations, weighing its visual ambition against the reported shortcomings in script and execution.
