Rajendra Shinde Undergoes Third Interrogation in Pradeep Purnarkar Murder Case

The murder of Pradeep Purnarkar, a prominent businessman, was reported on 15 March 2024 in Mumbai. Investigators have linked the case to a dispute over a property deal, with Rajendra Shinde named as a key suspect. Shinde was first brought in for questioning on 20 March, and a second interrogation followed on 25 March. On 30 March, police took him into custody for a third interrogation, during which he was asked about his whereabouts on the night of the murder and his relationship with the victim. The authorities said the new interrogation could shed light on the motive and identify additional witnesses. The case will now proceed to the next phase of investigation, with a forensic team reviewing evidence and the court scheduling a hearing.
