Rajasthan to Hold Panchayat Elections in 14,403 Villages in December

The Rajasthan State Election Commission has announced that general elections will be held in 14,403 panchayats in December, with a code of conduct in force.
The Rajasthan State Election Commission (RSEC) today declared that general elections will be conducted in 14,403 panchayats across the state in December 2024.
The announcement follows the completion of the delimitation exercise and the issuance of election schedules for all 14,403 local bodies.
A code of conduct will be enforced from the date of notification to ensure free and fair elections. The RSEC has also outlined guidelines for campaigning, media coverage and the use of public resources.
Results are expected to be announced within a month after the polls, with the RSEC promising a transparent and timely declaration of winners.
