According to the police, fake agents are luring youths to Southeast Asia with promises of attractive jobs, only to force them into online fraud. Once in a foreign land, the agents confiscate the youths' passports, rendering them helpless. The police have advised youths to verify the authenticity of job offers before traveling abroad.
