Rain Alert Issued for Six Rajasthan Districts on Oct 10‑11, Jaipur Likely to Stay Dry

The Rajasthan Meteorological Department released a weather bulletin on Sunday, forecasting intermittent rain showers across six districts of the state on October 10 and 11. The alert covers parts of western and central Rajasthan, where recent monsoon activity has left the soil moist and the atmosphere conducive to short‑duration precipitation.
Authorities have advised residents in the affected districts to stay prepared for localized downpours, possible waterlogging on low‑lying roads, and to keep an eye on official updates. The department also cautioned farmers to protect standing crops and to avoid unnecessary travel during heavy spells.
In contrast, the capital city of Jaipur is projected to stay largely dry during the same period, with only a slight chance of isolated drizzle in the outskirts. Local officials will continue to monitor conditions and issue any further advisories if the situation changes.
The weather service recommends that the public keep emergency contact numbers handy, clear drainage channels, and follow safety guidelines issued by the state disaster management authority.
