In a tightly contested Ranji Trophy match, Railways secured a gritty draw against Rajasthan, ending the latter’s bid for a victory.
The Railways cricket side managed to force a hard‑fought draw against Rajasthan in their latest Ranji Trophy encounter, halting the home side's momentum. Rajasthan entered the final session needing a decisive breakthrough to clinch the win and improve their position in the league table.
Railways' bowlers applied sustained pressure, while the lower order contributed valuable runs to erase the deficit. Their resilient performance in the closing stages prevented Rajasthan from taking the lead, resulting in a stalemate.
The outcome leaves both teams with a point each, but it particularly dents Rajasthan's campaign, which had been building toward a series of victories. Railways, meanwhile, can take confidence from their ability to absorb pressure and salvage a point away from home.
