Rahul Gandhi has written to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, pressing for the implementation of a 27% OBC reservation and the appointment of candidates to the 13% of posts that have been on hold since 2022.
In a recent letter addressed to Madhya Pradesh Chief Minister Mohan Yadav, senior Congress leader Rahul Gandhi reiterated his demand for the full implementation of a 27% reservation for Other Backward Classes (OBC) in the state.
Gandhi highlighted that under the current 87:13 arrangement, 13% of government posts are earmarked for OBC candidates, but many of these positions remain unfilled.
He pointed out that eligible candidates for these reserved posts have been waiting for appointments since 2022, urging the state government to expedite the selection and posting process without further delay.
