Rahul Gandhi said a student told him that an 'andhbhakt' believes one person is God, highlighting concerns over religious extremism.
Rahul Gandhi made the remark during a recent interview with a journalist, saying that a student had told him that "andhbhakt is convinced one person is God".
The statement was intended to underscore the dangers of religious extremism, with Gandhi pointing out that such beliefs can fuel division and conflict.
He added that the conviction of a single individual as a deity is a hallmark of fanaticism that threatens social harmony.
The comment comes amid the party’s broader campaign to address communal tensions and promote secular values across the country.
