The deal covers a wide range of ophthalmic and optometric devices, including handheld tonometers, autorefractors and slit‑lamp microscopes, which are widely used in eye‑care clinics and hospitals.
Industry observers note that the partnership could strengthen the availability of advanced diagnostic tools in the Indian market, where demand for eye‑health services is rising. Financial terms were not disclosed, and the companies said they will work together on training and after‑sales support to ensure smooth rollout.
