Punjab to Face Thunderstorms: Four-Day Yellow Alert Issued for 12 Districts

Punjab Meteorological Department announced a four‑day yellow alert for thunderstorms and heavy rainfall across 12 districts, effective from Monday to Thursday. The alert follows an active western disturbance that has entered the region, bringing unsettled weather. Meteorologists predict frequent thunder and lightning, with rainfall expected to intensify in the evening and night hours. Strong winds are also forecasted, which could raise the chill factor and cause disruptions in transport and outdoor activities.
