Bhagwant Mann, the Chief Minister of Punjab, issued a statement on Monday criticising the recent entry of Delhi Police officers into the historic Bangla Sahib Gurudwara located in New Delhi.
According to reports, the police entered the gurudwara premises as part of a routine security operation, a move that Mann said violated the sanctity of the place of worship.
Mann called on the concerned authorities to exercise restraint and ensure that religious sites are not disturbed, emphasizing the need to maintain communal harmony.
